People fall apart. Sometimes it is quiet, sometimes it is catastrophic, and sometimes it doesn’t seem like anything at all. Returning to the place where it began feels like it might be a chance to try again. Eighth year at Hogwarts is a different kind of battlefield than the one that they are used to. They might just make it out a second time, scarred but unflinchingly alive.
