Summary

Despite Phuwin’s desperate attempts to fight it, Pond vanishes into the pulsing dark—swallowed by the woods, leaving Phuwin standing alone at the edge of the trees, the weight of his silence heavier than ever.
Ashwood Hollow returns to its quiet mask by morning, but the lights keep flickering, waiting.
