Dick, just fired as Robin, with a replacement lined up, doesn't believe one word she says, until she starts being honest. Until he sees a way to handle his hurt feelings.
Three years later, she's back. Not broken, not quite as desperate, and yet honest, again. Honest how she's afraid of her position as heir to the League, with an actual male heir around. Honest about her wish to get rid of said heir.
Dick has no choice, not really. He has to take Damian in. It's his son, after all.Fic is fully written and will be uploaded chapter by chapter. Upload every Wednesday and Sunday.
