She feels as though she has changed too much to contact anyone from her past, that it wouldn't be fair to them. Unfortunately, she has the most stubborn (ex?)girlfriend in the world with police training who was currently stalking her. Well, it wasn't technically stalking. She wasn't intentionally instilling distress or causing harm, she was just sitting in a car outside her window.
