You were the Number One Veterinarian in all of Water 7 and the connecting islands, who everyone around town went to for the benefit of their beloved animal. Trusted, knowledgeable, discreet. All fine trademarks of someone in medicine.
Rob Lucci didn't have time to form relationships. His mission, whatever it was in that moment, was the most important thing in his life. His fellow CP9 agents stationed in Water 7 were just co-workers. His only friend was Hattori, his pigeon. When the health of his friend was in jeopardy, he finally crossed paths with you.
And it kept happening, well after you saved Hattori's life.
Familiarity is supposed to breed contempt, but it did the opposite for Lucci. He became quite fond of you indeed.
