Wade is contracted to kill Spider-man, but after some surveillance he decides the hero is just too chill to kill. Too sweet to defeat. Too squish to extinguish. Too golden boy to destroy. (Etcetera.)
Somehow, instead of blowing up in his face, it avalanches into a tentative friendship filled with crime-fighting, Netflix bingeing, top notch take-out, city-saving, shenanigans, weird alien symbiotes, and personal growth.
Which is pretty much when Wade knows he’s fucked. But like, maybe in the good way, for once?

Summary
Peter really wanted to talk to Wade, to let him know that he didn't care what he looked liked, to let him know he knew exactly how he felt; but for some reason he couldn't. Every time he saw Wade sitting alone at lunch he told himself 'this will be the day, I'll talk to him'. It never happened. His words always got caught it his throat, he'd look at him wanting more then anything to say something but then Ned would come along and say something and snap him out of his trance. He'd just look at Wade one last time and follow Ned over to their table. He felt like a coward every time but he couldn't help it, he never seemed to know what the say in the moment.
He got his wish one day on just a regular tuesday morning.

There isn't really any set timeline so it jumps around in time a lot, As is typical with Venture Bros, there is a lot of angst and a REALLY bad childhood. Big trigger warning for transphobia and misogyny from characters (especially Jonas).
Spoilers for the whole series abound, though retold through a new lens.
