Belos. Her mind oh so helpfully supplied. Her heartrate sped up as the name came to mind, memories flooding through her. She felt her muscles tense, and a need to check every doorway went through her. Luz couldn't move, though. It felt like roots had grown through her feet and taken a liking to her floor. She strained her eyes against the encroaching darkness, scanning the room.
Luz stopped, her whole body stiff as she stared at the doorway leading to the living room. A dark, tallish figure stared back at her, eyes boring into her soul through the pitch black. Luz suddenly realized how cornered she was in her own home, back against a very literal wall.
He's back for you. He'll take you, then he'll find Hunter, then he'll take everyone and make you watch and it'll be your fault-
"Luz?" A soft voice called out.
or; Luz wakes up from a horrible nightmare and searches for comfort in Amity, but gets something else instead.
