PleaseAvery stares into the black slit of D3rlord's helmet. It's all just pixels—uncanny pixels—but right now it doesn't seem as irritating as before. His silence now tells him more than it hides from him. Good.
D3rlord runs towards him, but it's too late. He turns towards the crack fully and walks into the darkness.
OR
The King's deterioration during the finale caused cracks in the fabric of the universe and created portals to parallel timelines. Avery is tired of D3rlord's secrecy and self sacrifice, so this time he would be the one to do the saving.

Perhaps He would learn to love again. Perhaps the world would see the day its god descended from the clouds and shed His cloak of feathers, to walk amongst His people again in the same way He always had.
So became tradition, to offer sacrifices to the Cannibal God. Provide Him with His meal and pray that one day, He may return.
Worship Him and pray to be saved. And may your flesh be the feast that brings Him home.

It has been five hundred years since the Parkour God abandoned His civilization.

“What happened?” EMF demanded. Something had to have happened. Evbo loved showing off this form, but it tended to take a lot of energy out of him, and this was the first time EMF had ever seen him look so genuinely uncomfortable with the existence of his own feathers.
“Nothing! I just-” He fluffed his wings again. “They’re- they’re itchy and I can’t get it to stop.”
Itchy. Evbo was in his god form and tearing up the floors with his talons because his wings were itchy.
Evbo has wings in his God Form, and apparently, he never learned how to take care of them. EMF helps.
