Summary
He stares down at Kaew contemplating his next move. He thinks back to all the harsh things his parents have said in regards to people like Kaew, how they could never understand and accept something like that, how it was unnatural, that they were lesser humans for subscribing to such a disgusting way to live, it’s not real love because it’s not between a man and woman so it shouldn’t be regarded as such.
But then he also thinks of Kaew and Phop, his friends since childhood. They’re the kindest souls he’s ever known, they’d do anything for the ones they loved, regarding them with the highest level of respect possible. The way their love came to them so naturally without second thoughts, he doesn’t understand how something like that could be so wrong.
Maybe it isn’t, and maybe all the feelings he barred for Kaew didn’t have to be shoved down, and he could be the one to cherish Kaew.
