Fate is cruel, and on the anniversary of Dave's death, he encounters a person who he is convinced is Dave. With old wounds reopened, Dirk is determined to bring him home, whether he likes it or not.

Roger can’t say for sure when the changes started, or what even set them off in the first place, but Buggy had begun to make himself…smaller. Quieter. There were some days that, unless Roger actively searched him out, he wouldn’t see Buggy once.
Or, Roger has noticed a strange shift in how Buggy-and by extension, Shanks-has been acting for the past few months. He figures it's about time he got to the bottom of it.
