Summary
"In the mornings, Ed washes the sheet while Stede fixes breakfast. It's kind of their thing now. Ed's not the greatest at laundry and Stede's not the greatest at cooking, but it's their thing and they're making it work."
Pure domestic fluff, in which Ed and Stede find lots of little ways to say "I love you."
(Based on the concept of penguin pebbling, because that's the author's love language too.)

Summary
"The rain arrives in the early afternoon, a welcome respite from the heat of the day. The clouds have been gathering for hours, massing and swelling over the water, and the humidity’s been rising with them. Even the shade of their beach-side bivouac can’t offer any respite, and the only silver lining, as far as Stede can tell, is that Ed has opted to work shirtless, complaining about the feel of sweat-damp material against his sweat-damp skin."
In which inclement weather obliges Ed and Stede to pause work on their inn renovations and they find other ways to occupy themselves on a rainy afternoon.
Follows immediately after the events of The Waters Around You, but could also be read as a standalone.

Summary
"It's been three nights since Calypso's party, and everything has changed since then. 'Taking it slow' is probably off the table now, what with the pair of them abandoning piracy to build a life of domestic bliss together in this little Eleutheran cove, but it feels as though they're still trying to find the edges of what their new world might be..."
***
In which Ed and Stede enter their Innkeepers Era, get stuck into renovating their new home, and lay a few ghosts to rest.
Unapologetic fluff with a moderate dose of smut.

Summary
It’s a question of biology. Vulcan biology.
The problem with falling in love with a member of an insanely private species is that it just might take you the best part of a five year mission to work out that the feelings are requited. And then you might discover that he’s already decided that the two of you can never be together.
And what are you supposed to do if he won’t tell you why?

Summary
"I’m still James Kirk, whatever else changes. Everything else changes in the end."
Facing retirement, an aging Kirk wonders what the future holds for him.
(Let's just say that I love that AO3 has an "Existential Angst" tag, because that pretty much sums this one up.)
Published in "Legends" #7 (Editor: Dovya Blacque), 2012, and gifted to TLara, with thanks for encouraging me to send it off for publication.

Summary
A few months after their bonding, Spock requests leave to attend a mid-winter ceremony on Vulcan. Kirk didn’t even know there WAS a mid-winter ceremony on Vulcan, and he finds himself wondering why his bondmate has had a sudden attack of nostalgia. It could be a long vacation…
Written for the KS Advent 2012. Massive thanks to T’Lara for her thorough and incredibly helpful beta-job (given the length of this fic, that goes above and beyond the call of duty) and for all her advice on Vulcan grammar and sentence construction. I’m pretty sure there is nothing that this woman isn’t good at! For those whose browser or device supports it, a translation from Vulcan to English is available by hovering the mouse pointer over the sentence in question, but if not there’s a translation at the end, there's a link to download it in the body of the story itself (because I just don't know how to put a link in this text).

Summary
A shuttle crash leaves Spock, Sulu and Chekov adrift on a deserted ocean world. As Chekov fights for his life and Sulu tries desperately to save him, Spock reflects on the strong bond that exists between the two men and starts to wonder what it is he’s really afraid of in his friendship with Kirk…
Originally published in the KiScon 2012 zine. Massive thanks to T'Lara, beta reader extraordinaire, and arminaa for editing and compiling that incredibly beautiful zine.

With huge thanks to T’Lara for her usual thorough and fantastically-helpful beta-read, and to the wardrobe folks on Charlie X for giving us Starfleet-issue skin-tight exercise pants.
