Their eyes met again. There was a line, Yunchang knew, from the ancients: one glance that seemed to stretch out to a thousand years. He could almost feel Cao Mengde’s breath on his neck, could almost feel his heartbeat pressing against his own wrist, right where his pulse sat underneath the thin skin.
Finally, he turned away. Another few taps of the controls, and his own ship turned, and moved aside.
“The way is clear.” Yunchang’s voice was barely loud enough to be heard by his own ears, and definitely not enough for the mics to pick up.
Still, he knew that Cao Mengde could hear.
Cao Cao lost a battle. Guan Yu guarded the wormhole that would allow him to escape. This is an ending already one carved on bones millennial ago, but in this hollow emptiness of space, they wrote it again in blood.

Summary
Modern Sanguo version of A very Chinese ABO which is a QYN/Joy of Life ABO AU. (which is in turn based on evocates' Sanguo ABO.
basic notes is:
- everyone is intersex (ish)
- ABO is known as 'caste', and, like sex, caste is known at birth
- population dynamics are: Alpha 30%; Beta 60%; Omega 10%
- female alphas are rare, male omegas rarer.China is now in 3 countries: Northern Wei, Western Shu, Southern Wu. Direct import of all the Sanguo people straight to modern era, so you can look up the names of Sanguo people and then imagine what they probably did, in a modern version. And then add some OCs.... and then paste on the ABO.

An ABO series inspired by Evocates' Sanguo ABO, where omegas need safety in order to experience heats. The idea of safety depends on the omega.
Primarily this is fanfic of Joy of Life (TV Drama) 庆余年 | Qing Yu Nian (TV), a very Chinese drama series.
In this AU, because ABO can be detected at birth, the ABO is considered caste.
The population distribution of the A/B/O in this world is also heavily skewed (due to genetic distribution):

Summary
Sometimes people are willing to pay money for me to write them something. The money always goes to a charity that we both agree on (I don't keep a cent ever for various reasons), and the fics are all collected here. They're from various fandoms because I'm a serial fandom monogamist.
Currently only accepting commissions from East Asia-based fandoms, such as Three Kingdoms, Naruto, and Joy of Life. Characters and pairings are always up for discussion, though I rarely if ever write for the most popular characters and/or pairings of the fandom. If you're thinking of commissioning something from me, there is a chance that you have to wait months, because I will have to fit writing within the little spare time I get after an extremely demanding full-time job.

Summary
A series of Alpha/Beta/Omega fics that is centered around the Kingdom of Wei as protagonists. Nominally based on the film The Lost Bladesman, but taking way more from history and the epic Romance of the Three Kingdoms than from that particular film. I've also
stolenborrowed characterisation from the film Red Cliff, and various stories about these people that I've picked up here and there. Definitely not historically accurate.Honestly, this series is less about the characters or the setting themselves, but how I can use ABO to explore aspects of Chinese traditions and cultures that are exemplified and codified in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Alphs/Beta/Omega-specific biology and worldbuilding is credited entirely to chuchisushi, who once gave me something like 40 messages while I was asleep explaining the whole thing. Series title credited to blackice, whom I am slowly in the process of corrupting.

Summary
A series of loosely-connected fics set in canon era, and centred around themes of roles imposed by both the world and themselves; roles that no one can escape from. Fics are ordered chronologically as they are posted, not as they occur in the timeline.
As Sally Hemings is the only recurring main character and Thomas Jefferson is the only other one who always appears, this entire series is also about exploring slavery as lived experience. Other major content warnings include misogyny, homophobia, consent issues, and incredibly fucked up and unequal relationship dynamics.
Characters here are based upon the precedents set by the Hamilton Original Broadway Cast, i.e. no one here is white. Sally Hemings and Martha Jefferson are played by the same actress, who is black.
All written for dawittiest as part of fightbackfic. Currently complete.
