“I didn’t ruin shit, you should’ve been going faster.” Vi shrugged, taking off her swim cap to reveal her black hair that still looked decent despite being trapped by silicone. Violet didn’t even have it up, she just shoved her hair into the cap and called it a day.
“Go faster,” Caitlyn repeated mockingly. “I just swam a PR.”
“Not just now.”
Caitlyn scoffed, “It’s a warm down pool that wouldn’t be very smart now would it-”
“Baby, I was kidding. It’s fine. I’ll try not to do that next time, kay?” Vi agreed. She hoisted herself up the wall, effectively shoving her ass in Caitlyn’s face, which was common practice in the sport but Caitlyn wasn’t so used to being so red when it happened.

Summary
She conjures it from her mind with regret. What if she had gotten to Powder’s room sooner, reached out a hand through that window she was stolen from as she begged, “Violet, please!”
Violet dwells in that night, her self loathing feeds her. It feeds her wrath, her fury, her need for revenge.
Multiple years now, girls have gone unscathed thanks to her ire. But, never, has a witch been caught.
Vi longs for the day when the blood of one of these women drips down her wrist.
Afterwards, her little sister would hug her, and Violet could finally get her life back.

Almost a decade ago, Violet of Zaun’s little sister, Powder, was kidnapped by a group of witches that lurks through the kingdoms of Runeterra. Annually (or almost, the dates are sort of inconsistent) these witches come back to steal from Zaun, specifically, their young women. So, when Vi and her brothers are appointed to fight against these fiends, Violet takes the offer in stride. As an opportunity for revenge, and bloodshed.

Caitlyn had no real explanation for the pink that was now spreading across her cheeks, she was just like that, the slightest suggestion that she’d be up for anything romantic sent her heart ablaze. For a few reasons: One, someone could be listening. Two, it’s something she wanted desperately.

Caitlyn’s voice was small, faraway, as she said, “You could go to Los Angeles. Ditch this place, say fuck it to expectations… someone like you could do it, Vi. Someone so… strong. Someone not afraid to be herself, to take a risk.” It wasn’t pain in her eyes, but something more like… grief.
Vi had no idea what was going on in this girl’s head, but she knew this couldn’t be about her. Whatever Caitlyn Kiramman was going through, it was worlds bigger than this conversation.
Four and a half years after leaving Piltover to pursue her dreams of being a singer-songwriter, and during the worst writer's block she's ever had, Vi has an unexpected reunion with her former classmate, senior year one-night-stand, and struggling dancer Caitlyn Kiramman.

Canvases, sketchbooks, and art classes fill her days, but never the emptiness.
After a chance encounter with Vi and a complete lapse in professional judgement, Caitlyn finds herself offering Vi an arrangement: art lessons in exchange for Vi modelling for her.
Vi, of course, agrees.
