There’s another thing—Todd’s Italian is horrendous. All he has is greetings and a half-remembered handful of nouns in his head. He’s sure that his uncle will probably mainly talk to him in Italian this entire trip—another thing to look forward to.
All in all, the town of Porto Bocciolo is gorgeous, tucked in right behind the sea. It’s quaint, quiet even, with docks at the very edge of the land, the stalls in all sorts of shapes and conditions, but the community is tight-knit, no one going unnoticed. Cobble roads weave carefully through tight gaps and alleyways, leading off into a gorgeous backdrop of olive groves and vineyards, farms, and fields which lead into the mainland. Looking out at the town, he thinks that his holiday might not be that bad.
╰┈➤ or; Todd stays with his uncle, Luca, in Porto Bocciolo, Italy, for an entire summer. Although he expects it to be uneventful, a certain group of boys turn that statement right on its head.
