The bar was noisy, noisier than Ronan had expected for a chilly gray evening in late April, especially in a place like this, all cheap floor-cleaner and folding chairs. The faded pinup calendar tacked up behind the bar was at least two years out of date. Miss August ‘84 smiled vacantly down at him.
A girl stepped up to the mic, thoughtfully lowered to accommodate her. “We’re Indigo Blue.” Her voice had a pleasant Virginia shine on it, and Ronan was taken aback at that unexpected glimpse of home, out here in the middle of fucking nowhere, Indiana. The drummer clicked his sticks together, one, two, three, and the guitarist picked out a sweet, moody little melody and the bassist came in softly to round out the sound. The girl hung her head, one hand wrapped around the mic stand, clearly counting. When the time came, she lifted her head and sang in a sweet, moody voice that matched the music.

My 1986 folk band AU. Ronan just happens to be in the right bar on the right night, and after two years of drifting, these people feel like home.

Summary
In unearthing the Nomu Factory, the Heroes and police of Japan discovered a body. This was not unexpected, but the nationality and uniform of the corpse in question… that was. Because this failed Nomu wore the uniform of Amestris, a war torn nation from the isolated continent of Atossa, where Quirks and modern electronics had never developed and never worked.
Edward Elric hoped he could retire from military service in peace, traveling Amestris while his brother Alphonse went to Xing. This is put on hold when now-Führer Mustang asks him to travel to the Outside, to the world beyond that was barricaded for centuries after the development of something called ‘Quirks’. A soldier has been killed and Amestris needs to know more about the Outside.

Or, Edward Elric and Amestris meet the greater world of Heroes and Villains. It remains to be seen who’s more traumatized by the encounter.

“Uhh, Mr. Stark?” Peter said.
“What is it, Spiderman? You okay?”
“I’m fine but…I think we might have a ghost fighting on our side.”
“Impossible.” Thor interrupted. “Ghosts hate the living.”
“Yeah well one just saved my life and made a joke about New York’s rat problems.”
Silence over the radio.Or, New York City isn't prepared for a ghostly invasion. The Avengers are finally all in the same place again. Thor and Bruce are back from space with a semi-reformed chaos god and a thousand refugees in tow. Steve and the Rogues have got their pardons and are ready to start being heroes again. But Tony isn't ready trust, neither is his new protegee Spiderman. The fractured team can't seem to come together. It's a good thing then that Danny Phantom is ready to save the day. That doesn't mean anyone is prepared for when he keeps showing up.

“Who’d be jealous of him?” Incredulity dripped from every word, and surely the Fullmetal Alchemist couldn’t be that bad.
“So you’ve met him, then?” Bauer asked, intelligence background at work as she sought information about these two children.
Elric just cackled and flipped open the file.
“What’s the bastard left for me this time?”
