Summary
Disaster strikes the Hail Mary on its way back to Earth. The taumoeba escape their breeding tanks, and make it to the fuel lines. Stranded in space just outside the Tau Ceti system, Dr Ryland Grace can't do anything. He can't go save Rocky, he can't go save Earth. Exhausted, out of options, and distraught, he fills the ship with nitrogen, and takes his final breath.
Next thing he knows, his eyes flutter open in his San Francisco apartment. It's a year before ArcLight touches down on Earth, but he remembers the Petrova Task Force.

I like how slowly the inhuman priorities of Midoriya unfold, to allow the full fuckery to be evidendent and yet surprising all at once.
I also genuinely like that Bakugou is not part of the polygroup. He's got his own bullshit, and I like that in a story.

A Hero is someone who defies the odds, and works hard to come out on top regardless of whether it obeyed the rules of possibility or not.
When the Pro Hero Mirko talked about being a trans woman on TV, Bakugo could only wish more than anything else to be like that.
But what was REALLY stopping her from being a girl anyway?Izuku Midoriya apparently.
