Summary
It’s hard to condemn Teru for what he does.
After all, his spirit extermination endeavours keep Seasoning City spotless. He drives out the forces behind the grief and weariness that plague the lives of his neighbours, he banishes the malicious and the restless to the realms in which they belong, and—most importantly—he makes Reigen a crapload of money.
So nobody thinks to point out his growing hubris and tyranny. Not until a feline spirit, the sole blemish on his spirit hunting record, slips the net and dives into the protective arms of a battered Salt Middle student.
In his pursuit of a once-more pristine reputation as a spirit hunter, Teru suddenly finds his priorities muddied, his worldview skewed and all his attention on that oh-so-reserved boy who just won’t give up on his cat.
Alternatively: an AU where Reigen finds Teru instead of Mob, and the cat Minori kills becomes an evil spirit.

Five, Technoblade decided Snowchester isn’t enough of a government to be blown up.
Six, Wilbur was revived a hell of a lot more reasonable than anyone thought and decided to fuck off into the woods rather than kill anyone.
Seven, Tubbo has nukes, so if reasons four, five, and six turn out to be untrue, Tubbo can fix that real quick.

Summary
The night Tommy disappeared, it went like this:
Tubbo screamed the words that became his goodbye. He can’t accept that Tommy is gone, because that would be accepting that the last words they exchanged were angry and intended to hurt. So he doesn’t accept it. He’ll search for years if he has to.
Techno let Tommy leave without so much as trying to stop him. He’s replayed the memory of that night and wished he’d done anything else, until he thinks the guilt might be enough to destroy him. He thinks he might already be on his way there.
And Quackity can’t help but feel like this is all just a bitter echo. This town is cursed, and Tommy is only its latest victim.

Summary
Phil doesn’t go into the cities anymore. Once had been enough, and he doesn’t have a death wish.
He chooses only to watch them in the distance, or pass by them from time to time as he walks. The buildings loom in the distance, their once-shining rooftops now overgrown and dull with no one to take care of them. If you get close enough, you smell the stench of rot and death. It’s a smell you can never get out of your nose, discovered one night after the initial wave where Phil tried desperately to scrub out his nose, sticking cloth and then even fingers as far up as he could to try and wash the smell out of his sinuses. It didn’t work, and the smell has stayed with him since. He tries to look past it, look past the cities, and continue walking forward. That’s what he attributes his survival to, really. The ability to look past everything, stare the dead in the eyes, and still walk on after he’s shot them in the head. They were people once, but thinking about it too much makes his hands start to shake so Phil looks past it and walks on.
(SBI zombie apocalypse AU. sort of phil-centric, but not entirely!)
