Mingyu realizes this when leaving Yale to uncover mysteries of his missing boyfriend, Wonwoo. Minghao discovers this when someone in his head begins talking when in bed with Junhui, his telekinetic boyfriend. Soonyoung knows this when pursuing Jihoon, a familiar stranger. Vernon notices this when juggling stealing books with convincing his sexcapade, Seungkwan, from turning his dick into an icicle. Seokmin gets this when trying to heal grief like he does wounds to forget his supposedly dead ex, Joshua. Chan doesn't learn this. He's somewhere as far away from that dreaded school as possible. That is, until he needs books on summoning gods to rule the city.
Otherwise the 'magical wonders' thing is a sham. Magic comes from pain and for thirteen magicians they're going to learn this the hard way.
