Welcome to my Dain Aetos and Sloane Mairi universe! Here you will find palpable yearning, a soft & sexy secret relationship, sustained chaos, and utter devotion (in short: a good time is had by all ❤️🔥)
This series includes my Dain and Sloane establishing story, “follow me like the moon" and the associated fics that build on it. In this little timeline, I've placed the genesis of Dain and Sloane’s relationship in Chapter 28 of Onyx Storm—between the two isles trips.
Stories take place throughout the remainder of Onyx Storm and can be read as standalones, though each fic builds on those that came before, so might be best enjoyed in order.
The series "officially" concludes with "i came from the crowd seeking you," which also includes a little epilogue to the entire miniseries. Bonus post-canon oneshots may be added at random (we see you, domestic Slain!)

“I need to hit you.”
Dain’s gaze snaps back to mine. His eyes roam my face, my body, and I know he clocks how hard I’m breathing. I’m being assessed, but I can’t tell if it’s my wingleader doing it or just… him.
“Okay,” he says, nodding slowly. “We deal with this now.”

Summary

Summary
I start to drift back across the rink towards the boards so I can set down my earbuds — they’re the cheapest ones I could get, which means they go flying at any significant movement, and my leggings don’t have goddamn pockets — when I realise I’m no longer alone, now abruptly face to face with another human being.
Worse, it’s a human being I recognise. And certainly not one I’m thrilled to see.
It’s one of the hockey players. Captain of the men’s team, to be specific. He’s twice my size, broad-shouldered and brawny, with dark hair and russet skin, a single white scar bisecting his brow that’s dramatically rumoured to be a souvenir from a backwater bar fight. He’s the sort of athlete that never fails to reduce women into giggling caricatures falling over themselves, and more infuriatingly he knows it.

Xaden Riorson thought he had figured out how to survive in this place. Now in his final year at Basgiath War College, he’s risen to the rank of Wingleader. He is focused on one thing: getting every kid of the rebellion bonded to a dragon. Then the real work can begin.
But he hadn’t counted on Violet Sorrengail, the General’s daughter, entering the Rider’s Quadrant. She’s not supposed to be here and she’s about to throw every plan he has made into chaos. Can he trust her? And more importantly, can he trust himself?
This follows the dialogue and events of Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing, retold from Xaden’s perspective. This was written prior to the release of Iron Flame, so all theories and speculation are my own and unconfirmed. It's my best guess at exploring how Xaden might have felt throughout the story and features new scenes with Liam, Garrick, Imogen, Sgaeyl and Tairn. Major plot spoilers from the very first chapter.

Summary
I vow not to fight anymore, if we survive the Great War.
The question stands: How would the presence of surviving, young Career Victors change the trajectory of the quell and the subsequent rebellion? How would the involvement of the most loyal district's best and youngest shift the tides of a revolution?
Follows Clove and Cato through exactly that. Their independent Hunger Games wins, the subsequent quell, and a war they never intended to become apart of.
TL;DR: The original career pack (Glimmer, Marvel, Cato, and Clove), win separately in games prior to the 74th, and their lives change drastically as a result. Clato centric.
