Summary
The war should have ended years ago. It didn't. Instead, Hermione is captured and thrown into Azkaban, where she makes a dangerous bargain with a Death Eater in the cell next door:
She will answer one question a day and never lie.
Of course, all is not as it seems, and Hermione remains compromised by that bargain even after she escapes her prison cell. Obsessed with proving both her sanity and loyalty to the Order, she joins "The Knife"—a shadow unit tasked with hunting down Voldemort's favorite soldier . . . one with the damning ability to resurrect the dead.
But not until finding him does Hermione finally accept the answer she may have known all along.
The only person to capture her mind and heart fights on the opposite side of the war.
Draco Malfoy.

Summary
Draco Malfoy is not, necessarily, a good guy. Maybe he could have been, once, but he chose differently. Some (everyone) might say he chose wrong.
After years in Azkaban and an extended house arrest sentence, he is released unto a world that somehow has only gotten worse while he was away… and rather than fix it, he falls right into step.
Or does he?

Summary
“I’m not the prey here.” Hermione whispered as Draco continued to circle her. He stopped, a touch away, so close that he was breathing in the pounding notes of her bleeding heart. She hoped it tasted like poison to him.
He leaned in, eyes on her lips. “Aren’t you?”Hermione Granger awakens after the Battle of Hogwarts to find herself in a maze of unidentifiable rooms, each holding a horror more frightening than the last. She thinks she is alone, brought here by Voldemort to be tortured, but soon runs into Draco Malfoy. Their story was supposed to be simple: reluctant allies until they beat the maze and find the exit. But when new players are introduced, Order members and Death Eaters alike, they must decide who they want to become and who they must try to save. Even if that means betraying each other.
*takes place immediately after the battle, so books 1-7 stay canon* -

Summary
On Wednesday, October 15th, at exactly twelve minutes past seven in the evening, Hermione Granger died.
On that same Wednesday, October 15th, at exactly twelve minutes past seven in the evening, Theodore Nott was pronounced dead after being discovered on the floor of his potions shop.
Two minutes later, at fourteen minutes past seven, the diagnostic above Hermione Granger’s head detected a heartbeat, while the one above Theodore Nott remained silent.
So why, when she opened her eyes, did she find him glaring at her? How was she going to get rid of him? And, most curiously of all, how did Draco Malfoy become the only person she trusted to help her figure it out?
