Summary
Christophe had known for as long as he could remember that his calling in life was to be a silversmith. The metal called to him, and he dreamed of the shop he would someday own. It was the only thing that kept him sane as he counted down the days until he would be free of Dr. Greenwold's rules and examination.
His dreams didn't account for an arranged marriage to a lord he'd never met, and they certainly never accounted for bearing a child he suspected wasn't entirely human.
