Summary
There are a handful of things that Geto Suguru already knows about Gojo Satoru, all of which are against his will.
That’s he’s a know-it-all. That he’s an asshole. That he makes it his life’s mission to be the bane of everyone else’s existence, and succeeds — because the prick succeeds at everything he tries.
Geto assumes there isn’t much else to learn. Eavesdropping on a rejected confession and a conversation about foreign wordplay is enough to make him reconsider.

Summary
The thought of someone else having such direct access to his emotions, basically his thoughts… To this day it makes him cringe a little.
Okay, maybe Gojo Satoru has some commitment issues. Sue him.
But he’s fine. Commitment is overrated anyways. Obviously the universe had it out for him specifically when it created this whole stupid secondary-sex system, where the ultimate declaration of care and adoration requires him to crack open his own ribcage and offer his beating heart on a platter. To say explicitly: Here. This is yours. Destroy this, destroy me, if you’d like to. You’re the only one who can.

Summary
He stops in front of the door, breathing heavily through his mouth. His mind completely blanks, and for a second he thinks it’s all the running; the lack of oxygen is starting to catch up to him. He feels lightheaded. But then he takes in another breath, through his nose this time, and he smells it.
Satoru’s scent is fairly light. Normally. Ozone and something electric, like the smell of wet air after lightning strikes a bit too close for comfort. Muted. Definitely not the type of thing Suguru can usually smell through a door.
That’s still there, barely. But it’s different now.

For the first time since Gumiho had stepped under the rope, Romance remembered he was there with other people. He glanced over at Abby, who was staring in the direction of the ring with the same awestruck expression Romance was sure had just been on his own face.
“Yeah, same page.” He breathed out, glancing back towards the ring. When he looked back, Abby was staring at him with a grin that he quickly returned. It was like a moment of unspoken agreement, a vow that passed like electricity between all the places their shoulders and thighs touched. A silent understanding.
Whatever it took, they were gonna make her want them as bad as they wanted her.

Akaashi’s life was simple.
It wasn’t boring; not to him at least. But it was simple, nice, calm. Making the decision to move to the city would definitely disrupt his routine for a few days, but he was sure that he’d settle back into it fairly quickly. Not much would change with the move; the only difference was that he would now be doing it in a cramped apartment in Tokyo instead of his university dorm. Akaashi’s life would be the same; simple, nice, calm.

Summary
Satoru’s eyes darken, no longer the perfect azure of clear summer skies, but rather the terrifying beauty of an obscure thunderstorm. A sinister grin stretches across his face, slow and spine-chilling. The teeth - that had looked perfectly pearly and like regular human teeth a mere moment ago - are on display, now looking all pointy and sharp.
Sharp enough to rip out Suguru’s throat should he step out of line.
“Oh, but who said I’m letting you go, hm?” Satoru snickers, the hand on Suguru’s thigh strengthening its grip while the other wanders to cup the side of his face again, “I didn’t invite you just so you could leave me so soon.”
Suguru has never believed in the supernatural. He learns the hard way that maybe he should've given it more thought.

That one, he didn't really like the idea of having children.
two, he knows Suguru would make a great father.
and three, that Suguru would never get to have them if he chooses Satoru as his mate.
But they marry anyway, and ten years down the line. Satoru thinks he got one of those things wrong.

Summary
Historically, socially, and economically speaking, the term alpha was synonymous with a few things: dominance, violence, superiority. But what if none of that was true? What if, once a month, alphas were nothing but emotional, needy messes subject to the whims of their omegas, desperate for attention and utterly powerless to their own desires? What if the hungry, dangerous, wild-animal-esque narrative of the alpha in rut was nothing but a fallacy, conjured up by the fragile egos of an alpha-dominated society?
Satoru wasn't about to get caught up in the semantics, but he had his theories, and Suguru was the perfect example of just how wrong that brutish image of a rutting alpha could be.

Gojō Satoru is the strongest. That's a fact. Suguru knows that— Suguru has watched Satoru rise above every hurdle placed in his path. He'd seen Satoru hit a wall and learn from it. Grow. Get stronger. Satoru is the strongest, and there's no question about it.
Gojō Satoru is the strongest, but that doesn't mean the strongest can't fall too.
Suguru was just never prepared for it to actually happen like this.

Suguru's not ready to face the consequences of his own actions when it comes to seeing how his leaving had hurt Satoru.
