Satoru’s eyes darken, no longer the perfect azure of clear summer skies, but rather the terrifying beauty of an obscure thunderstorm. A sinister grin stretches across his face, slow and spine-chilling. The teeth - that had looked perfectly pearly and like regular human teeth a mere moment ago - are on display, now looking all pointy and sharp.
Sharp enough to rip out Suguru’s throat should he step out of line.
“Oh, but who said I’m letting you go, hm?” Satoru snickers, the hand on Suguru’s thigh strengthening its grip while the other wanders to cup the side of his face again, “I didn’t invite you just so you could leave me so soon.”
Suguru has never believed in the supernatural. He learns the hard way that maybe he should've given it more thought.

Historically, socially, and economically speaking, the term alpha was synonymous with a few things: dominance, violence, superiority. But what if none of that was true? “When I first got here, they told me to never speak to you, under any circumstances.” Satoru said, and the sudden voice surprised Suguru. He continued watching the guard with widened eyes, noticing the slight shake of his hand as Satoru brought the cigarette to his lips once more.
“I didn’t question it, why would I even want to speak with a prisoner? That was all I thought of it for a long while, and I was okay with that.”
Suguru licked his lips and spoke before he could second guess himself.
“What changed?”
A dry chuckle escaped Satoru, he even smiled.
“Me, I guess. Or you, I’m not sure anymore.” Satoru answered, and finally met Suguru's gaze, which was painted more with confusion rather than the previous sorrow.
“I’ve watched you everyday for over two years, Suguru, and I began to see myself in you. We’re so different that we collide back into each other. It’s like, I have everything and you have nothing, but I don’t think there's a difference anymore.”

Gojo Satoru transferring from the customer service team to the safety team is the worst thing that's ever happened to Suguru, namely due to three reasons.
First of all, he now has to share the title as 'the star of the team' with someone else.
Secondly, Satoru's stupid and increasingly childish bets are growing out of hand, taking far too much of Suguru's time because yes, he does need to put that obstinate alpha in place, even if it means engaging in ridiculous games like who-can-stack-the-most-paperclips-on-their-nose.Thirdly, Suguru has jerked off in the office bathroom more times than he'd like to admit since Satoru transferred, but if that has anything to do with fantasies of a certain alpha crying as he's finally forced into submission, then that's not something anyone needs to know.
