Summary
Beneath one of the biggest branches on a wisteria tree, someone lays beneath pretty purple flowers and sleeps with a mask pressed over their face.
It’s wooden, paint peeling after many years of wear and tear. Yet it’s shape never disappears— carved to resemble a demon opening its mouth full of sharp canines and snarling permanently. With horns sprouting from the top of the mask, it’s obvious what this person of a tiny stature is meant to resemble.

You've always been adaptable. You're the kind of person who gets thrown into situations head-first and makes the best of what you've got. This particular situation, which you're 99.999999% positive is some kind of super intense hallucination or drug-induced fever dream, is pushing that ability to the extreme. Because as far as you can tell, you are suddenly in Eiichiro Oda's fictional world of One Piece and being pulled out of a treasure chest by none other than Whitebeard himself and, oh yeah, you're a baby. Like literally an infant... You're just going to have to see where this goes.

Stetson didn’t particularly like either of his uncles. Truthfully, he didn’t particularly like grown men in general, and he was pretty sure the feeling was mutual.
Still, even if he didn’t share the Dixon name, he and his siblings shared the blood, and apparently that was enough for the brothers to stop long enough to let all five kids cram themselves into the backseat of their too-small car when the world went to shit. That same blood had been enough to let them in their home three months earlier, too, when the cops showed up at the trailer with five children in tow — Stetson still covered in blood and his parents’ bodies still warm.
