Summary
Echo's time as the prisoner-turned-supercomputer for the Techno Union is freezing, unforgiving, and filled with broken memories. What was his purpose? What was his name? Nothing seemed to exist now besides the unrelenting cold and the constant orders from Command.
That is, until his search for the answers and an intercepted transmission send him hurtling toward the truth, regardless of the consequences.
When he finally breaks free from his computer prison in the Techno Union, things are far from simple as Echo attempts to adjust to a war—and old friends—who have changed since he last saw them. On top of that, this new squad he's been assigned to are anything but by-the-book; it's going to be a challenge to adjust to a strange squad dynamic he's alien to. Especially since the squad in question seem to hate his guts.

Summary
Look, being thrown through time and space isn't fun in the first place. But being attacked while already in such a situation? That’s just bad manners. Darkrai would know, of course, suddenly being on the receiving end of just that.
But at least he landed in the past, meaning he has the perfect chance to finally take his revenge on those pesky ‘heroes’ that got him there in the first place. And he has the perfect plan, this time: Disguise himself as a perfectly harmless Pokémon, get close to them, and once they fully trust him… stab them in the back and watch them suffer!
Now, if only he could stop himself from starting to like the once-human… that would be great. And where, exactly, has the original partner Pokémon gone?
(Can technically be read without knowledge of the Mystery Dungeon Series)(was intended to be crack. is now just a story with the occasional humour but also angst and too many words. and a surprising amount of character development for Darkrai. basically the Redemption Arc he never got.)

'Aren't you gonna lay down?' Bonecrusher signs. 'It's late.'
"Oh we can't," says Mixmaster from where he's tucked up under Long Haul's arm.
'The frag not?' signs Bonecrusher. 'Don't tell me you ain't tired?'
Mixmaster gestures slowly but dramatically at their laps. Across them, stretching from Long Haul's left thigh and over both of Mixmaster's, is a bright white and dark black shape that contrasts sharply with all of their paint.
'Okay? So wake him up, or pick him up, or whatever?'
"He's fast asleep," whispers Mixmaster, aghast. "We can't. What if he gets up and leaves?"
'Let him leave?!' This is ridiculous.
"You know, I think we're fine. More than fine, really."
Bonecrusher swings around to squint at Scavenger. 'And what's your excuse?'
Scavenger gestures at the itty bitty overlap of a single white foot on the edge of his thigh.
Bonecrusher is in a sparkbond with absolute clowns.

Reading this in small doses cus the sadness hits like a punch in the nuts -

Summary
She never even liked One Piece that much. Unfortunately, she knows just enough about it to recognize the problem when she wakes up in someone else’s body.
More specifically, the body of Uta.
She remembers fragments of the story, just enough to know Uta’s life ends badly, tangled up in tragedy, and the legacy of the Red-Haired Pirates led by Shanks.
There’s only one problem.
Her knowledge of the plot is incomplete, she never bothered watching the show after all.
But if she’s stuck living Uta’s life, then she might as well try to change the ending.
After all, how hard could rewriting fate in a pirate world really be?

At the solid age of twenty years old, Madison Hernandez never expected that going back to high school would be on her bingo card for 2026. Er.. 2010..? They aren't sure which bingo card they would even use at this point. Time travel (?) sucks. They can't use their stupid nice iPhone they splurged on, Spotify isn't in the United States yet, and suddenly they live in Nevada now. Nevada! There's nothing to do in Nevada!
Getting launched back in time was also not on Madison's bingo card. Finding themself in a weird fucked up alternate universe where they live in Nevada with their brother, that’s somehow even more strange.
The worst part is having to get walked to Highschool by a twelve year old that’s a grade above her. For God’s sake, Madison has an associate’s degree! Had. Will have? It could be worse. At least Rafael isn’t a jerk. But Maddie is pretty sure their “brother” and Mrs. Esquivel are pairing them together to make sure they actually socialize.
Upsettingly, it’s working.

Metal Sonic beeped shrilly at her.

… What is a “Doctor Eggman?”
“Hey, what’s going on in there?” Chris’ voice crackled over Metal Sonic’s earpiece.
Metal Sonic beeped again, this time punctuated by an annoyed buzz. Did Chris forget already that this unit was not capable of vocal speech?
Metal Sonic gripped the child and her pet tighter, being careful not to hurt them with its sharp claws (organic lifeforms were so delicate), and continued to speed through the corridor, no longer caring if the security cameras spotted them.

He doesn't want to understand his sappy, soft-hearted neighbors. He doesn't want to acknowledge the former Team Plasma member who's been studying him like an insect since his arrival. He doesn't want anything more than to crush down the pathetic emotions he still feels.
