“What are you talking about?” Grace's fingers played quick chords as he spoke. He didn’t even look as he did it, but it did not make them any less purposeful.
“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Summary
Ilya Rozanov has been drafted by Boston, the number one pick overall, but his father doesn't want him moving to America and so takes steps to block his visa. He's going to have to go back to Russia and stay there forever and that, thinks Shane Hollander, is wrong.
It's so wrong that Shane can't stop himself from doing something about it. Even though that something is the most reckless, the only reckless thing he's ever done in his life. He marries Rozanov in secret, to keep him out of Russia and put him on a path to Canadian citizenship.
Shane's got a five-year plan to get him there and when you have a plan nothing can go wrong. Right? Right. When you have a solid plan and a marriage that's on paper only there's no risk of feelings getting involved. Not on Rozanov's part and certainly not on Shane's.

Summary
Shane had always felt a private sense of loss, before, when Ilya would come into a condom and then casually discard it. For the past year this deprivation had been eliminated, and it gave him a deep sense of contentment. Now, though, they're getting off over video call, and an unavoidable component of each conversation has been to watch Ilya come into a tissue and then put said tissue straight into the garbage, and Shane really hates it.
He's not going to like, bring it up or anything, obviously. That would be fucking insane. Ilya may not have realized Shane's both incurably neurotic and a total pervert yet, but that's all the more reason to try to keep it under control. Shane is determined not to cause Ilya to finally come to his senses and run for the hills just because he's a freak who really loves cum. He can be normal. He can keep his own longing hidden, for the sake of maintaining an overall extremely satisfying sexual arrangement.
TLDR: Shane has a not-very-well-hidden desire for Ilya's cum; Ilya figures it out and offers to save it up for them to utilize at the cottage. Set in spring/summer 2017.
