I need to show Isabelle that I’m capable of serious relationships, and you need to show Anthony that you’re emotionally available and comfortable with your sexuality. So we fake date! Each other, I mean. You know, we go to events together and things, make them really jealous. Then, when we’ve got them where we want them, we stage a break-up! We’ll have them eating out of our hands in no time!”
James thought about it. Amazingly, Thomas was right. The beauty of the plan was that it was so simple. It would work in both of their favours. It would make both Isabelle and Anthony realise that they were incorrect. What could possibly go wrong?

When Thomas and James, mortal enemies and reluctant co-workers at Pat's bookshop, call a temporary truce, their friends are thrilled.
