    Summary

Langdon woke up on Saturday morning. Tension crawled up his body, trying to devour him—his neck first, then his head, then his chest. He had received a message from Pittsburgh Hospital the day before a call for the Fourth of July shift. They wanted all available staff on deck, and after ten whole months away from that place, Langdon was in their eyes available.

This would be his first day back since his last painful shift. His last shift had been on PittFest Day—the day his addiction was exposed, the day several of his closest relationships began to unravel, including those with Robby, Abby, and Dana. His life had been turned upside down, shifting from the chaos of the ER and the constant noise of his anxious mind to complete silence, with nothing loud enough to fill it except the chirping of birds.

    Or

What if Langdon’s kids were at the water park during the accident?

    Summary

The mental soundtrack Langdon summoned during CPR had changed a few times over the years. In medical school, it was the classic Stayin’ Alive, until someone told him All Star by Smash Mouth was 104bpm. There was a brief stint where it was Dancing Through Life, because they saw it on Broadway for their anniversary, and Abby insisted he reminded her of Fiyero and kept singing it at him. But when Tanner was around two years old, it became Baby Shark, and hadn’t changed since. It was, actually, the perfect tool for CPR; thirty compressions slotted perfectly with each new shark, and the whole family lined up with five cycles per round before switching out.

Being in substance abuse recovery has more of an impact on heat stroke recovery than anyone, including Frank Langdon, would've expected. Or, Langdon runs a code in the ambulance bay, develops heat stroke, and seizes, the Ativan dilemma arrives immediately, and Robby has feelings.

    Summary

Okay, so this new episode brought me out of my writer's block, I decided to start a fic. Anyway, the start of the fic is think Abbot and Robby scene at the end of season 1, but this time it's my chaotic duo, Langdon and Santos.

For the entire fic the summary would be basically if I wrote the rest of the Pitt season 2 and it was Langdon focused and his journey to renter his place in the hospital, using the dynamics the season has given us so far. So you will see multiple dynamics but langtos is the starting point

Major trigger warning for mental health, suicide attempt, talks about it etc. Heavy talks about recovery from drug abuse so please read at your own discretion. I care about your mental health guys.

March 16th: This was originally a one shot but I got comments so far saying people would love this to be a multi chapter fic so that is happening!

    Summary

Of course, a mass casualty event was not the time to disclose that to Robby. Of course, Robby was at capacity for how much he could lose. And of course, it had been the worst day of Robby’s life.  For a moment, in his drug-induced selfishness, Frank pleaded for Robby to remember the little bit of good in him; to ignore the bad. When Frank watched Leah die from across the room, when he heard of Robby trembling against a wall in paeds, he did the only thing that made sense. He insisted that Robby see the abundance of bad in him; to ignore the good.

    Summary

It's Frank's first day back in the ED, nearly a year after being given an ultimatum he eventually took. Of course, nothing can go smoothly, and from patient to patient his grip slowly starts to slip. Dana lowers him an olive branch to grab on to, hold on to so he wouldn't drown.

Or; Frank's first day back is rough, he has a panic attack about it, and Dana gives him some good old fashioned comfort while he's plagued with internal dialogue.
