Reader is Sam's established girlfriend, but Dean fell for her first. Now he's mostly grumpy and silent around her, which makes her feel insecure about whether she's done something or not. The shot is reader being left alone with Dean and confronting him about what is it that makes him hate her. He knows better than to say it's far from hate, so he calls her things (young, naive, extra person to carry for, discomfort). It's up to you whether that is the wrap or he breaks and takes his words back and ends up spilling the truth. I'd love a good old angst with sharp edges, thank you very much 🙏❤️

Summary
In 1839, Dean Winchester has left behind the night terrors of his childhood and the unnatural desires that ultimately drove his family from England.
Now in Nuremberg, he enjoys a quiet life with his brother, sister-in-law, and pious fiancee. As a favor to his solicitor brother, he travels to Transylvania to meet with a client, Count Orlok. In the looming, decaying castle blanketed in snow, Dean finds the count to be a lonely figure seemingly desperate for human connection.
As Dean's health declines, he is plagued by strange, vivid dreams that span the castle's history, his own memories, and fantasies he had hoped to leave years in the past and an ocean away. While his life and sanity crumble, he must choose between what he should want and what he fears.
