The doorbell of the Adamson residence rang. “I’ll get it!” called David and answered the door. “Well, hello there, Vincent. Nice to see you drop by,” David said and welcomed his friend into the house.
“And thank you for having me over,” Vincent replied as he entered the house with a duffel bag in hand.
David’s younger brother Tyler was sitting in the living room and playing on his phone with earbuds in his ears. Tyler looked up to see that Vincent had come over to the house. He also noticed that David was all dressed up in formal attire, including a necktie. “Hey, David. What’s with the fancy outfit?” Tyler asked.
“Oh, I’m going to be playing the role of a scientist,” David said as he adjusted his necktie.
Tyler gave his brother a weird look. “What does that even mean?” he asked, confused.
“Oh, you’ll find out,” David said with a smile. He and Vincent then went up the stairs to David’s room. Tyler just shrugged and returned to playing on his phone.
A moment later, two figures stood in front of Tyler. The younger Adamson sibling looked up to see David and Vincent standing there. Both of them were sporting a lab coat, safety glasses, and a medical mask.
“What’s going on here?” Tyler asked with a worried look on his face.
“Oh, Vincent was hoping to expand his research on humans and wanted to use you as an object of study. He asked if I could assist him with the experiments. I told him I’d be delighted to help,” David explained with a slight sadistic smirk under his medical mask.
Tyler got up to run away but was quickly grabbed. “NOOOO!!!” he cried as the two older boys dragged him up the stairs.
