Summary
After returning to Hawkins, Mike Wheeler can’t sleep.
Nightmares bleed into his days, cigarettes replace rest, and his fears keeps circling the same person: Will Byers. This was actually really good, like 9.8/10. There were some moments that were really special, a they hit all the main points of Vecna using mikes memories and self hatred against him (all that jazz). Them FINALLY confessing was wonderful and sweet, also the idea of them kinda of shutting eachother down and friendzoning themselves was pretty accurate and a nice touch. I liked that they brought up the quarry. And how Dustin and Steve and eventually Lucas were all on mikes side being like “lock in bro u got this”, yk
Anyway it was really sweet and comforting and an engaging story.
I’d like to mention this is the story I read on the morning I woke up at 6:30 and passed out like twice while I was reading.
