However, if soulmates do happen to meet, even if it's an interaction as fleeting as hearing their voice over a radio transmission, the bond forever tries to bring them together.
Kuroba Kaito has been aware of his soulmate in Kudou Shin'ichi for months, but it's only recently that he decided to begin testing the waters to clue Shin'ichi in. Yet in doing so he has somehow pissed off the red witch — his old classmate, Koizumi Akako. Now cursed, Kaito is thrown through time again and again, always right before he's about to reveal their bond to his detective.

Or, a Slytherin-centric rewrite of COS-DH focusing a little more on privilege and inequality within the Wizarding world, inter-house friendships, rising tensions and divisions in the coming war, and breaking generational cycles following an original Selwyn character and heir to a dying bloodline.

Even before House Black’s unexpected and explosive end during the First Wizarding War, the other members of the Sacred Twenty-Eight all agreed the Selwyn bloodline would be next to fall. But although it was easy enough for her parents to dismiss rumors of cursed or tainted blood, there was no hiding the truth that their bloodline was dying.
Or, a Slytherin-centric rewrite of COS-DH focusing a little more on privilege and inequality within the Wizarding world, inter-house friendships, rising tensions and divisions in the coming war, and breaking generational cycles following an original Selwyn character and heir to a dying bloodline.

Hi, and thanks for checking out this fic! I first started writing this in 2020, though I only got up to the end of Y2 before I lost confidence due to some mental health struggles. At the time I didn’t feel like I could come back to it, but when I literally could not stop thinking about Sophia and her classmates fully 4 years later I decided to pull up my old drafts and try rewriting all of Y1 for myself, and sure enough, the obsession is back! I posted Y1 pretty much all at once, but since I’m editing/writing new sections of Y2 as I go there will be a little more of a delay then, particularly after I move onto Y3 and on!
