You couldn't look back once you got the letter from your grandfather, like a break in the clouds of a storm, you packed your bags, with very minimal things and left without telling a soul. You couldn't bare another moment of a job where no one knew your name but only the blood trail that followed you. Pain stricken and in all honestly, running away from your reality, you wind up in your grandfathers old ruined farm where no one ties your name to anything but your grandfather's humble legacy.
The plan was to lay low and start a new life, like the old you had died, but it's never that easy. And as new beginnings are never linear, neither is moving on from the past. As you come to adjust to life in stardew valley, new relationships form and crumble and the past resurfaces.
A particular Doctor and a frequent alcoholic patient make your new life more complicated and pain filled than intended. But anything is better than being there, right?
