Written (kinda) from a Tumblr prompt: Someone messed up and now Elliots gf is getting beaten to a complete pulp. By the time they figure out where she is and get there she's on the floor like a lump. Everyone silently assumes they're too late but *gasp* she's still alive, (for the time being anyway... concussions are no joke kids). Anyway, I'm just looking for a scene where Elliot assumes the worst, (forgetting that you can be weak and still take a beating) yet falls head over heels (cheesily)when she wakes up for a bit and smiles.
Uh. Whoops? This one sort of took on a life of its own so it kinda veered off a bit from the prompt, but I hope everyone enjoys it anyway. It wound up being written from Hardison’s POV for some reason, so frankly I blame him for it going off the rails and being “girl Eliot has been pining over” rather than Eliot’s established gf. Again, uh, whoops?

She’d been passing files and tips to the Italians for years on what companies Moreau had his hands in. They were little wins, but at least it was something. Moreau had gotten considerably more irritable as months went on. He was losing money and investments due to seemingly freak accidents. He’d taken some of that frustration out on her but it wasn’t anything she wasn’t used to. She could take it, if it meant somebody would put him away. COMPLETE.
