Summary
Sun and Moon are what remains of a vast pantheon of gods. Only able to save themselves by making a pact with each other and binding their bodies together and the moon and sun themselves. They watch over what is left of the vast forests they once protected. They know that one day they will waste away, unable even to hold on to each other.
Now here you are. Things haven't gone exactly the way you'd hoped but you've got another field position and it's looking up from there. Now if you can manage to keep catching bumble bees, not eat anything poisonous, and make the mortgage, you'll be fine.
Curious that you always catch more bees than anyone else on the study. Curious that you never get ticks, or chiggers, your bag never rips open, you've never been stung, never fallen in the woodland brush. You think you're just lucky for a while. Then you step on that hornet nest. Well. You'd always had a thing for local cryptid lore.

The door clicks shut behind Moon as he steps forward, He stares at you, his head tilted to the side as if analysing you.

The city itself is new to you. Loud, bustling, and crowded; it's a far cry from the small town you grew up in, but it's far from an unwelcome change. The farther you can get from your old home, your old life, the better.
The symbols on the back of your right hand have been glowing since you arrived in the city.
If they were visible to anyone but you, it would seem like a tattoo; you wish that was all it was, rather than a glorified mood ring for some stranger.
No, unfortunately, it is your soul mark. Like everyone else, upon coming of age, yours had painlessly etched itself into your skin. Unlike everyone else, however, you seemed to have three marks, overlapping each other vertically between your wrist and knuckles, upon your skin. You realized this upon your arrival in the city, when each symbol—a sun, a moon, and what seemed to be... an eclipse?—changed colors individually. How lucky for you; not one mysterious, random stranger, but three.
You wish it had never started glowing.

Summary
You were a YouTuber who explored abandoned theme parks, or sections of them, and for your 100k subscriber special... You decided to go to the infamous Fazbear Theme Park. For decades, the little kid section it used to have has been closed down due to certain rumors and allegations of a few accidents with the animatronics. Despite all the curiosity around it, so far no one has dared to break in.
Until you. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it hadn't killed you yet! So! Throwing caution to the wind, you broke in, not expecting much. A few weird hints here, some creepy animatronics there. Nothing new.
But then one of them started talking, which you weren't quite prepared for...OR: A semi-abandoned theme park AU, centered on Sun, Moon, Foxy and Bonnie. Lots of found family and feels along the way.
EDIT (5/19/26): Yes this story is still being updated!! It's just been on a sort-of-hiatus and I have been focused on a different fic, but it shall be finished one day, no matter how slow my updates are

Jigsaw, formerly known as Eclipse, fell in love with you, watching from the shadows as you navigated the Pizzaplex...and he does not intend to let you go...ever. He is willing to do anything it takes to keep you safe and to keep you with him.
(Jigsaw Eclipse is an OC version of canon Eclipse who is loosely based off Ruin from TSAMS, though this is not a TSAMS AU fic and is more closely related to canon FNAF and I'm not currently in the TSAMS fandom! I am trying to do weekly updates every Sunday!)
