The towel now sat on his thighs, even though he still was sweating bullets, and his eyes were glued to the floor where his feet tapped nervously against the ending of the leather couch. His hands gripped air, trying to hold on to something as he tried to contain his tears that threatened to fall, knowing how real it felt after saying it out loud to his best friend. A few seconds later, the couch dipped beside him and his stomach dropped. Another symptom. He must be dying sooner than later.
"Talk to me." Josh whispered next to him, clearly worried. Well, who wouldn't be worried after their best friend just tells them he's dying?

Josh doesn't want to go - it's not really his scene. He gets anxious in such a busy place that he heads outside to breathe. He meets a really chill guy who seems to be the only sane person there.
A familiar face at his interview the next day makes everything complicated.
