Is she to be his mistress then? she thinks hazily as she slips towards sleep. Is that the future for her? To escape from the viper's den into the viper's mansion?
She shivers and he drags her closer, one large hand tucked around her hip.
Well, she can't escape now even if she wants to, she thinks, sinking into the softness of the plush mattress, burrowing back into the heat and warmth of her jailor.

Geshulin turns his head so far that his breath fans over the side of Jiyan’s face, and the warmth emanating from his skin is far closer than it was before. “I do so love your compliments.”
Jiyan is so affronted by the remark that his nose wrinkles in disgust.
“Only a man such as yourself would take such loathing judgment to be a compliment of your character.”

Long enough for what? For Nagi to stop being listless? For Reo to forget what it felt like to kiss Nagi between classes in high school? Some things will never change no matter how much time passes, and he wants to say so, but he makes the mistake of looking over and there's an odd glint in Nagi's eyes and all Reo can do is go limp and murmur, "If you really want to, Nagi."
He's weak to Nagi. That's something that won't change either, he supposes.

“HOLY SHIT FU--” She covered her mouth before the worst of it could slip out, eyes looking horrified at her balcony, fingers digging into the skin around her mouth. The eggs dropped to the floor with five indistinct splattering noises. Sonic’s eyes were wide, mouth curled in a small, amused circle.
“And neither are those words!”
It’d only been three months, just barely, and he’d already found her.
