No hesitation, he swallows it whole.
It's kind of like eating a slightly larger, slightly orange-r, very hard grape. Okay, so maybe not like a grape at all but grapes are on his mind because of the Mad Titan's resemblance. He feels the stares turn from worried to incredulous.
Spider-Man's mask is still up, so he sticks out his tongue the way he would to prove he actually took his pills to his aunt, "All gone."
Peter doesn't have time to worry about the repercussions when Thanos angrily snaps anyways.''

Jason’s dead. Jason has been dead for almost a decade and the hallucinations only fully went away a couple years ago, so why does it look like Dick’s not-so-little brother is standing there looking very much alive?
In which Jason Todd went on a monster hunting trip with Roy and co. instead of a revenge tour, learned some magic, wound up mystically connected to a wandering library filled with enchanted books, and got married to a cunning woman and started a family.
Now that Dick knows that Jason’s not nearly as dead as once thought, Jason agrees with his wife Imogen that it seems as good a time as any to move the library to Gotham for a while. Jason wasn’t planning on actually reconnecting yet, but he knows the bats won’t leave him alone now that they suspect the truth. He’s worked with them enough times in secret as magic-sword-and-gun wielding Red Hood to know how stubborn they all are.
Bruce faces a whirlwind of emotions: his son is alive, he’s a librarian/mage/assassin, he has a wife and an almost two-year-old daughter, and Constantine and Zatanna are basically now his in-laws.

You ever see a fly endlessly bumping against a window so you open the window to let it out instead of just getting the swatter like usual. And it's all just on a whim?
So, anyway, Simon somehow finds himself floating in space after screaming at a giant eye in an endless red void.
Grace and Rocky are on the way to Erid when they come across an iron submarine with a dead eel monster hanging off the end.
Simon gets to heal, Grace gets to interact with another human again, and Rocky gets to watch the incredibly awkward courtship rituals of these two disasters (affectionate).

Simon has always had Laika by his side, his Daemon. Maybe she was the reason he didn't want to die, never wanted her to suffer. But when he feels her pulling him from the blood ocean, he doesn't believe the feelings. Not even when he wakes up in a lab, that is certainly death.
Grace has always had a good connection to his own Daemon, even when he was kidnapped and thrown onto a space ship, she refused to leave his side. The only reason he ever considered going back to earth, was for her sake.
Alternatively: I love seeing Félicette and Laika being compared to Grace and Simon, so I gave them new lives in this world
