Noa contemplates his new role of Master of the Birds as well as being the last living ape to know of the true Caesar. With his limited knowledge, his goal is to answer the question of, “Can ape and human live side by side?” The question becomes more complicated when he is saved from a watery grave by an Echo, who seems to want nothing to do with Apes. Compassionate but distant, she’s as good a place to start on his journey to understanding Caesar as anywhere else. In getting you to care about apes, he may just start caring about humans as well.
