It's the last day of sixth year, and Malfoy has gotten it into his head that Harry has to die. Harry, with nowhere left to turn, takes refuge in a potions classroom, hoping to escape long enough to survive, but he's not alone. Severus is also in the room, holding a bloody knife over his own arm. Harry tries to save him, secrets come out, and the two come to an understanding. Then Malfoy's secrets come out, and all hell breaks loose. Harry loses still more to the war, Severus loses his very humanity, and only together can they hope to come out on top.
AU Note: This just became a crossover with Fantastic Beasts. Well, kinda--it's just history, but it's going to be a major plot point later, so it needs the tag. Might get a bit squicky. (Major age difference between mates. They don't actually get together--fate messed up big time--but if the idea of a 35 year age difference between long-lived, fated mates (who don't actually ever date) turns you off, well, you've been warned.)

Halfway through sixth year, Harry grows wings and learns he is a mythical being known as a Sunguard, a human phoenix who cannot be killed unless his mate dies or rejects him and whose power comes from his blood. The problem? Voldemort also has his blood, and Severus Snape, who detests him and has a perilous position in the war, is his mate.
When Severus accepts Harry, the couple thinks their difficulties are over, but a new conflict soon shows its ugly face. Before the sun sets on their first week together, Severus finds himself facing his worst nightmare and opposition too steep to overcome alone. With Xerides at their side and their friends at their back, the couple sets out on a race against the clock and the corrupt Ministry to save their family and break the purebloods' control of wizarding Britain, once and for all.

Part two of The Lords of the Realm series.
Bàn Leon is warded and protected from both the forces of the Dark and false Light, but Harry and Severus still have a long haul ahead of them before they can truly call it the headquarters of the Court of the Dawn.
Dumbledore's suspicion and anger is growing, and Draco and the Slytherins suffer his wrath as a result. Riddle is fuming to find his prophesied enemy is no longer a helpless child but a warrior with strong forces behind him. The Ministry is culling anyone who doesn't fit Riddle and Dumbledore's bills, the Snatchers are roaming the lands, and Remus is gathering the Dawn's armies in the dark of night and under the full moon.
With war waging on so many fronts, will Harry and Severus' fledgling band of fighters survive?
On hiatus again, sorry. I just don't have the mental focus to tackle this beast right now with my health in such bad shape.

After Sirius dies right in front of him, a desolate Harry would sooner die himself than be sent back to the Dursleys one more time. Voldemort gets creative, however, and instead of dying, Harry finds himself rocketed twenty years into the past and straight into the memories from Severus' pensieve. Harry reacts without considering the consequences, as per the norm, and saves Severus from his family. He only meant to spare an innocent pain, but in saving Severus and securing his alliance, he has set in motion a series of ancient prophecies as old as written history and changed the course of fate forever.
Harry and Severus are back at Hogwarts, and Dumbledore has even more tricks up his sleeve to make the boys as miserable as possible, and the Dark Lord is scheming against them, too. Between twisted headmasters, NEWTs prep, the Marauders' tricks, the Death Eaters' machinations, and navigating the bumpy road of new relationships, it's bound to be an interesting year.
At least they won't have to face it alone.

So after they are put through hell again, they pick up their lives and keep going. Derek is now the Alpha, Peter is his Second. Then the Argent brood moves to town.
When someone starts snooping around crime scenes and the Hale property, the pack decides to strike first & ask questions later.
Turns out, the Hale pack just met the third Argent sibling. Where did this lanky teenager who calls Gerard his dad, Kate his sister, and Chris his brother, come from and why does none of it add up?
