Summary
In an immensely convoluted way, quirks proved that the greatest power was the human mind. People, before quirks, used to say the greatest power is thought. The human brain, a complicated organ powered by tiny pulses of electricity could beat any idiot with a couple firecrackers popping between their fingers.
When villains, with lightning bolts at their fingertips, could be bested by a hero whose only power was to manipulate fabric, it became increasingly obvious that power lies in how you used your mind.
Unfortunately for Izuku, he challenged the one person- man? Animal? Creature? Creature.- that’s power increased their mind.
But, maybe, just maybe, he could win this wager.

Katsuki grew up with people telling him he was born lucky and powerful. He wished it was a power he could attribute to skill and not luck of birth.That was what Deku had, he had the chance for all his accomplishments to be his; Izuku didn’t have a quirk so everything he had would be earned through hard work.
That didn’t mean Katsuki didn’t work hard, he always did his best but all he was ever told was about his quirk. Never his grades, never his carefully trained reflexes, never his actual hard earned skill. Always his quirk, always his talents.

Summary
Nedzu tasks Aizawa Shouta to investigate some oddities amongst the staff at Aldera Middle School. However, due to said oddities amongst the staff, it's unwise to slip Shouta in as a transfer teacher. Thanks to a temporary physical age regression quirk, Shouta is primed to go undercover as a student at Aldera with two objects in mind: figure out the discrepancies in the staff and keep the only Quirkless student at Aldera, Midoriya Izuku, safe.
Deeply unimpressed at having to be fourteen again, even physically, Shouta finds an unexpected kinship with the kid. While he tries to keep Midoriya safe and solve the cast, Shouta ends up rediscovering some things along the way as well. Whether it's setting a bully on the path of redemption or reigniting his love of heroics, Midoriya Izuku and Aizawa Shouta are about to change each other's lives for the better.

Summary
Izuku never gets One For All, and never goes to UA. Away from Bakugou, he finds that most people don’t care about his Quirklessness as much, and actually makes friends in his class.
This, however, gives rise to a new problem - namely lots of confessions to the sweet and smart boy. In his attempts to make them stop, he lies that he’s dating UA star Todoroki Shouto, certain the lie will never come to light.
Sucks that Shouto stops a villain attack on his school while interning with Endeavor. Trying to keep up the lie Izuku takes Shouto aside and asks him to play along for his classmates.
He doesn’t expect Shouto to come back to his school and keep up the act.

Heroes are kind. Heroes save people. Heroes want to help people no matter what. Heroes are like All Might, smiling regardless of how a tough a fight is. Heroes, Izuku has learned, can also not be heroes at all.
One article about a bad hero turns into four articles, then ten, then twenty and soon the whole country is reading about licensed villains playing at savior. Izuku writes them haphazardly, picking heroes whose wrong doings are masked by their fame. That is, until he meets Endeavor.In other words; the one where Izuku sees the fault in the hero system, makes it his mission to fix it with the help of one burnt fire-user vigilante, and eventually finds himself deeper in this mess than he originally planned.

He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.

One for All focused on strength, obviously. Anyone who had ever seen All Might fight could see that much, but at the same time, Kyoka just couldn’t bring herself to believe that’s all there was to it. Quirks just weren’t that simple. Take her own quirk for example. Sure, it enhanced ehr hearing, but it also allowed her to project her heartbeat, not to mention the fact that it had a mutation element to it as well. It didn’t fall into a neat little category because her quirk wasn’t a one trick pony and she was pretty sure that was true for most quirks. One for All shouldn’t be any different.All Might was a strong hero, but his go-to solution was usually to punch things, which meant that for him, the solution was always to have bigger muscles than his opponent and force his way to victory by sheer strength and force of will, but...well, as much as Kyoka hated criticizing All Might, that didn’t always work. When she was singing, muscling through a difficult passage could do more harm than good. Instead of trying to get stronger in that case, the best thing to do was improve the technique and airflow so that she got a good quality sound without hurting herself. It was the same with her instruments. A guitar could be made of the strongest wood on earth, but if the player didn’t know how to use it, it would still sound terrible. There had to be some technique elements to using One for All that she should be preparing for in addition to just building muscle.

Zuko realizes his destiny much earlier. As in, as soon as he wakes up in the palace after his Agni Kai and is told he is banished. Unfortunately, he's never been a patient one. So he storms right up to Ozai and tells him what he's going to do. And gets locked up for over three years. Then, one day, he's being pulled out and told he's the new Fire Lord.
A "Zuko never meets the Gaang and suddenly becomes Fire Lord after three years of literal torture" AU. In which the Gaang doesn't know what to think of the new Fire Lord who happens to be the missing nephew of Aang's firebending teacher, Iroh constantly has a headache, and, sure, maybe the world hates the Fire Nation, but the Fire Nation LOVES Zuko, and he can work with that.
